Yes, I know we all have different things on our plate right now, but IMHO it’s important to stay informed about #brexit, both if you’re UK or EU. So. Read and weep. And notice there’s no surprised face on my side. https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1215583018825457672.html
@jwildeboer Man's talking out his arse. I suggest you wait and see rather than listening to all these soothe sayers and people with crystal balls because they know f... all nobody does it's all just words.
What is interesting is all those Tory MP's who ran around 'doing their own thing' that have now suddenly lined up to fall into line.
You're going to see some big changes and fairly rapidly too.
@dick_turpin I’ll happily wait and see. There’s no big surprise waiting. It’s 27 v one. The math is simple. The power distribution also. And with von der Leyen focusing on the EU, shrug.
@jwildeboer I've had my head in my hands for nearly 4 years now about all of this. I am so disappointed in what's happening in this country.
@yetiops it happened. We now need to make it work. The EU IMHO will do its best to be welcoming and care about seamless transition, especially for the +3M EU citizens in the UK. Also for the UK citizens living in the EU. Things will change. Radically. That’s just how leaving the EU works. Unchartered waters with a clear goal of growing the EU.
@jwildeboer Eventually, reality is going to bite Boris and the Tories, and hard. No amount of distraction by their press buddies will save them. Nor will disinfo online. They’ll blink and end up with BINO. The alternative (no deal at all) won’t save them. Either option will be the undoing of Boris, the only difference is the first will be at hands of Tory Party, second at hands of British people.
