@jwildeboer yea but that number is fucking useless because no one is testing consistent sample sizes outside of South Korea (and even then, it's limited to people around those infected). The number everyone should be looking at is fatalities. The US is about to cross 1,000 and Italy is at 8,000

@djsumdog Germany is now at 70000 tests daily. Look at our death numbers compared to other European countries. Things change fast.

@jwildeboer Yea .. that's a huge fuck up with the US. The US should have immediately brought in kits from Germany instead of trying to develop their own domestically. That's probably what allowed Germany to identify and quarantine carriers early .. same with South Korea .. Japan's kinda an our-liar.

@djsumdog Germany can (and does) also do ELISA testing for antibodies since January. They are radically ramping up that capacity as we speak.
