It remains an absolute shock to me that a sitting president attacks democracy and millions of his followers join that fight. And that almost no one stands up and says "enough". Staying silent is accepting.
We take democracy as given and consider it to be the better system. The 1st statement is naive and I would at a "yet" to the later one... Democracy has flaws and we see a major one, when the elected leader can attack it.
Trump will do scorched earth from now on and everybody should be clear about this and try to minimize the damage he still can do.
