Austria wins. Israel second. This is the weirdest result I have ever witnessed in all my ESC years.
Congratulations, Tautumeitas and Latvia. You are my personal winner of the ESC. And with that I close this thread and have another glass of wine. The show was worth it. The public vote needs scrutiny as it seems off by magnitudes of what makes sense.

@jwildeboer Latvia was completely entrancing. Really surprised that San Marino got so few public points considering it's the most streamed track by a significant margin.
probably the Italian second entry, I mean, San Marino's entry was not perceived as novel enough.

Provided that the number of votes received per entry are made available for each voting country, one could (and some will) rank the voting countries per votes needed for a point, may be further detailed into 1, 2, .., 12 points.
@jwildeboer even though I had nothing to do with it, I’ll take that as a personal compliment. Latvia showed a really high level of craftsmanship with Artūrs Ānalts at the helm.
I think Germany got seriously screwed over though, they had the catchiest song.

@jwildeboer there are substancially large amout of politics involved on competition. After all the best performance and song prevailed in the of near cathastrofic event.

Last year the sum of televote are 2204.
But people could vote 20 time....
@jwildeboer UK was one of the worst one and I really disliked it compared to most others which are mostly ok. UK was awful.
Austria deserved the win.
