Update after valid criticism: double the bounty when the bug report is accompanied with a patch that fixes it. Still the same concept. Incentivise collaboration the #OpenSource way.
Unpopular opinion: Bug bounties for #OpenSource should only be paid for patches that *solve* the problem. Not for merely finding them and leaving it to (not always, but often) volunteers to fix it.
