@aral it is a massive shift, given how repugnant the #EBU has been year after year, penalising anyone that showed solidarity, ignoring boycott requests, pretending #Russia was any different and layering it all with a fake peace message. #Israel know it's big too. My concern now is BECAUSE Israel know the tide is turning, they are rushing to finish the job.

Nur ZDF besitzt die Marke #Löwenzahn samt IP vollständig, und wäre die professionelle Synchronisierung nicht zu teuer geworden, wäre dies per #EBU unter anderem an die #BBC lizensiert worden.

Sad news for the #eurovision Grand Final:

My local broadcaster reached out again and told me that the bad audio mix is (at least partly) due to EBU rules. Specifically, the LFE channel isn't allowed to be used in competing songs.

This must be a new rule, since my #ESC2024 recording has full 5.1 audio, even during the acts. Sounds much better in comparison, in my opinion.

I again recommend reaching out to your broadcaster to get that changed at the EBU level for next year.

So, I contacted my local broadcaster about this and they've just responded:

The responsible departments will gladly approach the SRG production regarding optimal quality.

If you noticed similar issues, I recommend reaching out to your broadcaster (and maybe SRG SSR) as well!

May I remind you, dear #EBU, that Countries cannot be EBU members[1]. So no country flags? Only broadcasting organisations can be member, associate or approved partner. These can however also be members of the Council of Europe. Whose flag is, you guessed it, the European flag[2]. So your argument makes no sense.
