Maar die revolutie wordt op dit moment nog vooral geleid door riksjachauffeurs en maaltijdbezorgers op scooters. 90 procent van de elektrische voertuigen op de Indiase wegen zijn twee- en driewielers. King George the Fifth - whose titles included #emperorofindia - received #mahatmagandhi in #buckinghampalace some time in the 1930s when the latter was in #london at a round table conference over the future of #india . #gandhi wore a #dhoti albeit a clean one on that occasion . The King appears to have accepted his guest's attire with equanimity. When #gandhi was criticised afterwards about his skimpy attire he remarked that his host had worn enough clothing for the two of them!
